translated directly in English, this means, to promote IYAL (Tamil
Language) ISAI (Music) and NAADAGAM (Dance).
An ongoing problem all linguistic groups are facing is the lack of youth
involvement in our language and culture.
With these concerns at heart, our Guru Beama Naidoo decided to form
RHTK, to attract youth and ensure they learn about our rich Tamil Language, culture and
heritage. Recognizing that the youth have a different approach to learning, our
Guru uses modern and accommodating techniques to attract and grasp the attention of our Youth.
Our commitment to the group is born out of our very deep, heartfelt
connection to our culture and language, as well as, our enthusiastic support of
the leadership and members that deliver these wonderful services at an
extremely high level of efficiency and commitment.
The lack of youth in all organizations is posing as a huge problem. They
are our future and we NEED to spread our culture.
The Reservoir Hills Tamizh Kazhagam (RHTK) has lessons every Saturday from 2 to 5pm.
